After experimenting around with draping and pleating, I wanted to combine the both together. So I done some pleating on the front and the back of the bodice. I then draped material on the back of the lower dress, to get a retro/elegant type of look. Throughout making the dress my ideas have changed, but I am really happy with my outcome. I went through some difficulties at the end, due to me having to hand stitch most of my dress because of the sewing machine rooms being closed without any notice. But overall I'm really happy , considering this is my first dress I've ever constructed.
